Connecting Smithies Across the Dallas-Ft. Worth Area
The DFW Smith College Alumnae Club was re-established in the Summer of 2008. Our club functions solely on volunteers and we organize a small number of events a year, such as admissions events, faculty speakers, annual holiday party, book club and other casual gatherings. Our goal is to foster relationships with the over 300 Smithies in the DFW area.
As always, we welcome volunteers to provide ideas or organize an event in the area. It's just plain and simple with us. If you want to organize an event, email us and we can help you get started!
Currently, our admission team is working to recruit more young women from the DFW area to Northampton. This year, our team had the largest number of early decision and regular decision students recruited than any other year. As you may know, Smith can be an amazing experience and has the ability to change one's perspective on life (and has done so for many of us). We would like to continue that tradition and provide it to as many young women as possible.
We are always looking for good venues for our meetings, parties, etc. If you can offer your home for a meeting, lecture, or gathering, please email us at email@example.com. Or, if you know of an inexpensive non-home setting, please let us know.
